Bitlayer Official Bridge Cross-chain (Cross-out) Tutorial

Welcome to part 2 of the official Bitlayer Bridge tutorial.
This 2-part tutorial will briefly cover how to transfer assets from Bitcoin to Bitlayer and back again. To learn how to transfer assets from the Bitcoin network to Bitlayer, please see here of this series.
1. Open the Bitlayer official website, and click on Bridge&Earn.
2. Note that by default, the website will show “Bitcoin” crossing to “Bitlayer,” so you’ll need to click on the arrows between those two options to toggle which direction you want your transaction to go.
3. After setting the origin network to Bitlayer, you’ll be prompted to select an EVM wallet. It’s important to use the wallet you previously used when crossing to BTC.
4. Click [Next] and then [Connect] after.
5. After connecting your wallet, enter the amount of BTC you want to transfer off of Bitlayer. Please ensure your BTC balance meets the following requirements:
(1) The transaction is no more than 1 BTC, the current maximum set by Bitlayer.
(2) The transaction is at least 0.0003 BTC, the current minimum amount per transaction.
(3) A sufficient amount has been reserved for the cross-chain fee (the cross-chain fee is currently set at 0.00045 BTC). This means the amount of BTC you enter should be less than your total balance.
(The quantities or amounts in the images here are for the testnet environment and should not be considered reference values.)
6. At this point, you’ll be directly connected to your Unisat Wallet. However, please note that Bitlayer will adopt bitvm in the V2, an optimistic system that requires sufficient time to commit the transaction, access the data availability layer, wait for challenges, and settle any potential slashings among other processes. Thus, the approximate time it will take to cross using Bitlayer’s official bridge is 3–7 days.
7. After confirmation, click on [Transfer], and then confirm in the wallet pop-up.
8. If you see the page as shown below, it means you have successfully transferred BTC. In 3–7 days, your Unisat Wallet will receive the bridged BTC.
